Our Missionary families reside in the Southern Tucson AZ area and take short-term trips of 2 to 3 week durations (i.e. they do not live full-time overseas) with an average of 5 to 6 total trips per year in order to equip and train the indigenous national partners living in oral cultures primarily based in Africa, Asia, the Middle East and South America.  The Tucson area is a great place to live and reside as a family as recently noted in the 45 Reasons to Move to Tucson (or to be glad you live in Tucson!) article:
