“I Want to Feed them Stories”

Our refugee brother’s testimony of how the Scripture storytelling approach affected him and his vision for sharing the Good News with others:

Before attending the stateside bridges training, one brother engaged his friends and family in debate trying to prove to them that their existing beliefs were faulty. During our week of training he shared, “I wanted to break them first. But now I want to feed them with stories.”

We praise God for the way engaging in the story of Scripture has powerfully transformed and healed our brother and we trust that God will do the same for his family and friends. Many of our refugee brothers and sisters are living in difficult environments, engaging in new language and new culture. Many work hard at any job they can to provide for their families.  Some are seeking ways to share the Good News of the Kingdom with those who have not heard and to build a community of faith with fellow believers around them. Stateside “Bridges” training provides a strategy and the tools to meet this need. Unfortunately, as with those we work with overseas, many don’t have the financial resources to attend such trainings.

Partner With Us

As we approach the end of 2019, we know you will have many opportunities to be generous with all that the Lord has provided. We ask you to prayerfully consider joining us in this effort to engage those unreached in the United States with a generous year-end gift.  Any amount would be appreciated.

$200 will provide a week of training for one person, at a cost of $40 a day. A gift of $2000 will provide training for a team of ten.

Thank you for considering this opportunity! Please visit our website at https://www.scripturesinuse.org/give/ to give today!
